Migration Health Nurse

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a qualified Migration Health Nurse to join its Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC) in Dushanbe. The role supports IOM’s mission to protect and assist people on the move by delivering high‑quality clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical services within the Migration Health Assessment Centre.
• Conduct health assessments, including phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing.
• Support mass immunization activities and tuberculosis screening when required.
• Collaborate with public‑health teams to manage communicable disease risks.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with IOM health protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or Diploma where it fulfills full scope of responsibilities).
• Valid nursing license for the duty station.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience for degree holders, or five years for diploma holders.
• Experience or training in tuberculosis management, mass immunizations, communicable diseases, laboratory testing or public health is an advantage.
