HIV Program Associate

About the role

FHI 360 is seeking an HIV Program Associate to support the planning, coordination and implementation of HIV project activities in Tajikistan. The role combines programmatic support with administrative duties, ensuring trainings, workshops, field visits and other events run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Organise logistical arrangements for trainings, meetings, workshops and field activities, including venues, transport, accommodation and catering.
• Maintain trackers of planned and completed activities, deadlines and follow‑up actions, and support timely reporting.
• Document and report on activity implementation, preparing minutes, summaries, training reports and monitoring notes.
• Coordinate communication with project staff, government counterparts, CBOs, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Support travel and administrative arrangements, preparing travel documents, purchase requests and liaising with finance and procurement teams.
• Participate in procurement selection committees and review related submissions as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, business administration, project management or a related field.
• At least three years of experience supporting project or program implementation in an NGO or international development setting.
• Fluency in Tajik and English; Russian language proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within Tajikistan up to 10‑15% of the time.
