Safe Migration Hotline Coordinator

About the role

The Safe Migration Hotline Coordinator will ensure the effective, efficient and uninterrupted operation of IOM's Safe Migration Hotline in Dushanbe, providing accurate migration information and legal consultations to migrants.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the hotline, ensuring quality and consistency of information.
• Supervise and support the hotline team, including training and capacity‑building.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of migration routes, legislation and tools.
• Provide direct consultations and legal advice when required.
• Identify and implement improvements to expand and promote hotline services.

Required profile

• Higher education in law, economics, public administration, social sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in migration‑related information, advisory services or pre‑departure orientation.
• Knowledge of migration legislation of main destination countries for Tajik migrants.
• Experience in coordinating activities or supervising teams.
• Proficiency in Russian and Tajik; English is an advantage.
