Safe Migration Hotline Coordinator

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a qualified professional to coordinate its Safe Migration Hotline in Dushanbe. The role supports Tajik migrants by delivering accurate migration information, legal advice, and pre‑departure orientation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Safe Migration Hotline (9:00‑17:00, Mon‑Fri) in partnership with the Migration Service.
• Provide legal consultations to migrants via phone, in‑person, WhatsApp and Telegram groups.
• Ensure the hotline delivers up‑to‑date information on migration legislation of key destination countries.
• Organise and conduct pre‑departure orientation sessions and training workshops for labour migrants.
• Maintain records, generate reports and coordinate with IOM and government stakeholders.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in law or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience delivering hotline consultations or safe‑migration information services.
• Strong knowledge of migration legislation and policies of major destination countries for Tajik migrants.
• Proven experience in conducting pre‑departure orientation and training for labour migrants.
