Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Ho Chi Minh City office and contribute to the design and calculation of mechanical, ventilation and air‑conditioning (MVAC) systems for complex projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, design and develop effective MVAC system solutions.
• Coordinate and manage related systems such as fire‑fighting, water supply and electricity.
• Interact with clients to understand and meet their requirements.
• Ensure all designs follow Aurecon’s processes and local regulatory requirements.
• Utilise Revit and, where applicable, IES load calculation software to produce detailed models.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Air‑conditioning, Construction or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English (advantage).
