Senior Consultant, Infrastructure Advisory

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Infrastructure Advisory team. You will work across the full infrastructure lifecycle, helping clients shape investment decisions that deliver economic and community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality advisory services including business cases, feasibility studies, due diligence and investment strategies.
• Produce client‑ready outputs such as option assessments, technical reports and financial models (e.g., cost‑benefit analysis, lifecycle costing).
• Work across sectors such as transport, water, energy, resources, social infrastructure and defence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary advisory, engineering and design teams.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support business growth through opportunity shaping, client engagement and proposal development.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, commerce, planning).
• Experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting or a related environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Collaborative, adaptable mindset with a commitment to quality outcomes.
