Lead Consultant – Site Electrical Engineering & Delivery Management

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Lead Consultant to drive delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will join the Infrastructure business and work with highly skilled specialists to turn ideas into reality for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and third‑party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope, secure resource availability and develop detailed project plans.
• Manage project changes, measure performance, report to senior management and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Perform risk management and keep comprehensive project documentation.
• Delegate tasks, track performance and budgets, and support professional development of the team.

Required profile

• Passion for re‑imagining engineering and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Relevant technical qualification; chartered status preferred.
• Professional Engineering or Architect License (2nd Class) with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
• Excellent client‑facing, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and multitasking proficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
