Infrastructure Advisory Consultant

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an Infrastructure Advisory Consultant to join its national team. You will work across the full infrastructure lifecycle, helping clients make confident, future‑focused investment decisions that deliver sustainable community outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality analysis for business cases, feasibility studies, due diligence and investment strategies.
• Apply economic and technical concepts to develop option assessments and models such as cost‑benefit analysis, lifecycle and whole‑of‑life costing.
• Generate insights for infrastructure projects across sectors including transport, water, education, energy, health, resources and defence.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, contributing to business growth through proposals and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary advisory, engineering and design teams as a valued member of a high‑performing group.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, commerce, planning).
• Experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting, government or client‑side environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to translate complex inputs into clear advice.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Collaborative, growth‑mindset and commitment to quality.
