Consultant, Infrastructure Advisory

About the role

Join Aurecon's Infrastructure Advisory team to help clients make future‑focused investment decisions across the full infrastructure lifecycle. You will work at the intersection of strategy, investment, and delivery, shaping projects that support sustainable community outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality analysis for business cases, feasibility studies, due diligence and investment strategies.
• Apply economic and technical concepts to develop option assessments and models such as cost‑benefit analysis, lifecycle costing and whole‑of‑life costing.
• Generate insights for infrastructure sectors including transport, water, education, energy, health, resources and defence.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, contributing to business growth through proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across advisory, engineering and design as a valued team member.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., economics, finance, engineering, commerce, planning).
• Experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting, government or client‑side environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to translate complex inputs into clear advice.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Collaborative, growth‑mindset and commitment to quality.
