Civil Engineer – Sustainable Design

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join Aurecon’s team delivering carbon‑neutral, sustainable infrastructure projects. In this role you will contribute to the design, specification and reporting of major civil works while supporting client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, specifications, calculations and technical reports for civil projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Guide and nurture junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.
• Assist project teams with progress reporting, project completion and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client goals and sustainability objectives.

Required profile

• Strong passion for sustainable and carbon‑neutral infrastructure design.
• Ability to build and sustain client relationships.
• Experience mentoring or guiding less‑experienced engineers.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
